I can definitely see the Senku influence on the mouse though. The PR said it was inspired by Master Chief of Halo and the Mazda Senku concept car. The design of the mouse is rather interesting. They used to make some of the best hardware around and now it looks like they're trying to make a come back.s Can Microsoft make one without any outside help? The Sidewinder line is back and here's my take on Microsoft's SideWinder mouse Might actually still get one when I have the funds.honestly only picked up the Naga as I got a KILLER deal on it.Microsoft's Habu mouse was a joint venture between them and Razer that produced a good gaming mouse. Oh, duh, might look at getting the Tt eSPORTS Level 10 M ems large and has an adjustable height palm ems to be a palm style mouse and was my initial choice for a replacement. You might never find a perfect replacement, but trust me, any change is going to seem bad at first. At first it felt super awkward and unusable.I absolutely hated it, but after a couple weeks I'm totally digging it.plus the multiple side buttons means I can map the back and forward buttons in the one over the other style config that my X8 has (which is a fucking AWESOME way to put those buttons, have NO CLUE as to why it isn't done more.makes more sense, is more comfortable, and way more ergonomic). I have a Sidewinder X8 that is acting up and got a Razer Naga 2012 to replace it. OP, I think you might just have to get used to any new mouse you get. So tech wise the M90 stomps the Sidewinder.

You can even reassign buttons to keys on your keyboard if you want. It's like having a keyboard with macro buttons.

You can change the mouse dpi speed on the fly in increments of 100 on a 100 - 5700 scale, make macros that fire with a custom delay, etc.

I guess if your thumb is in good working order you'll love this mouse as it has macro capabilities for days! You can even download them from Corsair. They are just too hard to press for my thumb and it annoys me that I paid pretty good money for unusable extra buttons. I tossed it back into it's box as it already ate one of these up before.īut like I said I don't like the side buttons. A++! The Sidewinder immediately started grinding into my Ratz Pad just then. It's really precise and even tracks perfectly if you lift it a little off the pad! The regular mouse buttons have a tactile feel that the Sidewinder is missing. I can never say I died to my mouse not being where I thought it should be. It was made for this surface! And it tracks so well. No problems with it scuffing up my ardocp Ratz Pad. They are huge and are silky smooth like the left and right mouse clicks.
Microsoft sidewinder mouse software plus#
Now a real plus for the M90 is the teflon pads on the bottom of the mouse. I laid my M90 on top of my Sidewinder and the M90 is identical except it's missing the overhang where the weights slide into the Sidewinder. They require effort to push and are nothing like the silky smooth left and right top buttons. The M90 has the buttons that you have so forget the lightly gripping part unless you're not going to use those buttons. I used to rest my palm on my sidewinder or lightly grip it as it was perfect.

As far as size goes it's close to the sidewinder, but still too small for me. Well at least that's what I have to do with my bum thumb.

It's a mouse that you have to rest your palm on to press the array of buttons for your thumb.
